A straight-forward resolution:
Make our communities and world a better place.

How do people of every background and persuasion begin to work together for the common good? The resolution just below is proposed to test a concept that might help guide the local priorities of a community.
A few test locations are being proposed: Austin (TX), Albuquerque (NM), Andover (MA), Boston (MA), Brunswick–Bath–Wiscasset–Damariscotta (Midcoast-ME), Cambridge (MA), Dallas (TX), Denver (CO), Irvine (CA), Nashville (TN), San Diego (CA), Spartanburg (SC), and Winter Park (FL). [1] More cities and towns will be proposed (or volunteer to be involved) as this project develops. We know these twelve cities and four towns. We’ve lived in many, visited all, and know activists in each who would be happy to test an idea for a citizens’ movement to engage with each other to address problems within their area and the intellectual problems of our world.

A RESOLUTION OF CITY/TOWN (HEREIN REFERRED TO AS “COMMUNITY”) TO RECOGNIZE THE ROLE OF HER CITIZENRY AND THE REAL OPPORTUNITIES THE COMMUNITY HAS TO SHOWCASE HER CITIZENS, WE ADOPT THE FOLLOWING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES REGARDING THE PUBLIC’S PARTICIPATION IN ONE OF THE COMMUNITY’S PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITY STRUCTURES FOR HER CITIZENS:
WHEREAS, the websites of the COMMUNITY are ostensibly the property of her citizens, we hereby move to open pages for the expressed purpose of having her citizens comment on the priorities for the work of all the departments of the COMMUNITY.
WHEREAS, the COMMUNITY’S elected or designated leaders, herein known as the “Leadership,” all have their own priorities for the COMMUNITY, we hereby move that each of these representatives of the people, be given open pages on the website of the COMMUNITY whereby each can add and update no less than their top five priorities — work to be done — in order that the citizenry may weigh in to increase or decrease the prioritization of those efforts.
WHEREAS, the departments of the COMMUNITY are lead by experts within their field, we hereby move that each head of a department be given open pages on the website of the COMMUNITY whereby each can add and update no less than their top five priorities — work to be done — in order that the citizenry may weigh in to increase or decrease the prioritization of those efforts.
WHEREAS, within the citizenry of the COMMUNITY there are innumerable experts touching many aspects of human life and endeavor, the website shall be further opened so citizens can comment and vote on the importance of the top problems within their COMMUNITY and then add their own. These added priorities would be valued by other citizens in much the same way as they vote and value those presented by the Leadership of the COMMUNITY.
WHEREAS, the COMMUNITY recognizes that there are extraordinary resources with depth of learning among the faculty and administrators of our colleges and universities, especially “College/University” so pivotally positioned within (or nearby) the COMMUNITY, we move that all citizens be encouraged to adopt one of the ongoing global problems (17) identified by the United Nations or any one of the many unsolved problems as identified within Wikipedia. Or, in the spirit of these unsolved problems, citizens are encouraged to propose their own, and that these unsolved problems also become part of the COMMUNITY’s web resources such that the entire COMMUNITY is intellectually active and working together toward their prioritized common goals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED FOR AND BY THE PEOPLE OF THE COMMUNITY:
SECTION 1. Recognizing the invaluable resources of ideas and expertise, the COMMUNITY’s leadership would request of all those who have voted online and added insights, that they be able to volunteer to be a spokesperson for citizenry of our COMMUNITY regarding that issue and be able to “opt-in” to be called on by the local, state, and national media to comment on it in light of their contributions posted on the COMMUNITY’s website.
SECTION 2. Further recognizing these insights and expertise, the COMMUNITY Leadership will request that their IT Director or the Information Technology Department of the COMMUNITY create a web-based infrastructure to support the goals as outlined.
SECTION 3. Further recognizing these insights and expertise, the Leadership requests that Publicity Director of the COMMUNITY initiate print and electronic media to local, state and national outlets regarding these initiatives in order to generate positive publicity of the COMMUNITY’s citizenry and the COMMUNITY’s activities.
SECTION 4. ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the COMMUNITY, held in ___________ this day,___, of _____ (Month, Year).

Reflections on Concrescence
This project was initiated in light of UNESCO’s International Day for Mathematics and the March 14 Pi Day celebration of circles and spheres. Inherent within those celebrations are the primary functions of pi: (1) Create continuity and order. Over 100-trillion digits of pi (π) have been calculated and verified. Those never-ending, never-repeating numbers of pi (π) are the result of the oldest, longest, most-used, most-versatile equation among all-known equations. We are still learning about its deepest functions. (2) Symmetry is a function of those numbers as they become a most-simple relation, a circle, then a sphere. (3) Harmony is an even deeper dynamic, an essential nature of the sphere that was opened by Fourier in 1820 whereby he discovered there is a harmony that defines every sphere. The concrescence of the three, continuity-symmetry-harmony, define a finite-infinite transformation.[2]
Continuity helps a community to define and use its time. Symmetry helps a community define and use its space. And, harmony helps each community define the best possible dynamics of space-time for its day-to-day living.
Continuity, symmetry and harmony are goals for which every community can aspire. And, getting everyone in a community to talk about their problems and to work together to prioritize and begin to solve them, it would seem, is a noble concept.
Discontinuity, asymmetry, and anharmonicity (discordance). [3] Our communities, this world and even the universe could best be described as discordant, unpredictable, and chaotic. It would appear to be a natural extension of quantum physics. Quantum fluctuations were defined by Werner Heisenberg (his uncertainty principle) as “the temporary random change in the amount of energy in a point in space.” Within this model, his “point in space” is dimensional, functional, and predictive with definitive geometries, all of which are defined by gaps. Although this history goes back to Aristotle, here it is a relatively new study because the context is within our two Standard Models, quantum physics, and big bang cosmology. To grasp the fullness of our model, the study of gap geometry with its discontinuities, asymmetries, and and anharmonicities is required. Yet, these gaps are also the source of our creativity, novelty, and something that is genuinely new. The tetrahedral-octahedral-tetrahedral gap is an example of something new.
So, yes, answers to any-and-all unsolved problems are not beyond our imaginations and capabilities to find solutions. Thank you. – BEC

[1] Initial Community selection: Each city and town is very familiar. Within each, there are friends and family who could help with this resolution.
[2] Pointing beyond circles and spheres. Between the finite-infinite transformation and between the faces of continuity-symmetry-harmony (CSH) are equations. Many equations converge within the numbers that make up the Planck base units. Although there are alternatives to the Planck numbers (Stoney, Ralston, and ISO numbers), they’ll use the same dynamics (and equations). Eventually we will probably be using new ISO base units, yet I expect the results will be very similar. That convergence or concrescence of equations is the point. It is the necessary convergence of the finite-infinite. It’s also the beginning of value.
Bringing the infinite into the equation is difficult for many. Within this website, you will find this declaration:
All other definitions of the infinite are put on hold. Most are personal definitions that come from personal experiences and family history. That is one’s own business, not ours. If those beliefs help you through life, that is great. Our goal here is to engage those principles and functions that give rise to mathematics, physics, and eventually all the other sciences… from Continuity-Symmetry-Harmony (CSH), The original started in 1972.
CSH is the infinite and the finite. Its first expression as the finite is the Planck base units. The first expression of those units is an infinitesimal sphere. This is an unprecedented definition of the finite-infinite relation. Doing a simple calculation with Planck Time, assuming one sphere per unit of Planck Time, renders 539 tredecillion spheres per second. That could be considered a new definition of the cosmological constant. To begin to grasp that natural expansion, we apply base-2 notation and the first second, manifests within Notation-143. The first year manifests within Notation-169. The first 1000 years manifest within Notation-179. The first million years manifest within Notation-189 and the first billion years within Notation-199.

Fourier transform. Every formula that involves pi (starting with the Fourier transform) needs to be re-reviewed in light of CSH and the 202 base-2 notations. Pi (π) is everywhere.
[3] Geometries of indeterminacy. There is a look and feel of quantum fluctuations; the mysteries are all within the geometries. It appears that scholars were first foiled by Aristotle (384-321 BC). Five tetrahedrons create a gap that he missed; and for 1800 years his mistake was repeated by scholars. That is worth pondering. Aristotle was so great it took 1800 years to countermand his mistake. And, it is still untouchable. That correction was eventually forgotten until in 1926, a little-known MIT mathematician, Dirk Struik, rekindled that scholarship. Struik’s work did not receive much attention until in 2012, two scholars, Jeffrey Lagarias and Chaunming Zong, lifted it up again. Yet, these two mathematicians were more interested in packing densities. There is no exploration of the meaning of the gap. Subsequently, in May 2022, a five octahedral-gap was first introduced to the world from within this website and questions were asked of many scholars, “What are these gaps all about?” There are geometer-physicists (scholars) who focus on Geometry-And-Physics (GAP) and have had a regular series of conference since 2003. We are just now being introduced to their work.
