A Revolution About the Meaning & Value of Life

Defining History Today. Most revolutions are political, an explosion of anger, hurt, misery and resentment. It is about power; who is in charge and why? This new revolution is intellectual with an emerging army of thinkers. At no time in history have there been more people in search of fundamentally new insights to answer real-and-vital questions about life and the nature of reality. And we have special help, artificial intelligence (AI). Even while it challenges us with its superintelligence, AI is generating new answers that could change the chemistry on earth profoundly. Second, other new technologies are re-opening old questions with new insights. For example, challenging big bang cosmology are the results of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) as it gives us new data about the earliest years of the universe.

Everybody is asking basic questions in very different ways, “What is life? What are the most basic components of reality and life? What is the first expression of space and time? What is infinity? What has meaning and value and why? Might there be a basis for natural law and ethics?”

An area of study with great potential is between the electroweak and Planck scales, a multi-faceted domain just beyond our reach. Harvard professor, physicist Cumrun Vafa said, “…Planckscale physics? We have no idea.”1 Yet, if one assumes that PlanckTime is the first moment of time, could the Planck base units describe the first “thing” in the universe? Some have assumed it is an infinitesimal sphere of some kind. Although pi (π) is our oldest, most-ubiquitous, and versatile equation, it is hides a deeper nature that requires a bit of speculation. Within this website the words, continuity-symmetry-harmony, dominate. The never-ending numbers of pi define the word, continuity. Might this be considered the very nature of order in our universe? Of course, pi gives us our sphere and those symmetries create relations. And, even more deeply, pi gives us harmonies (the Fourier transform) creating dynamics. As such, it defines a deeper nature of space-time, mass-energy, and gravity-electromagnetism. [2]

We began making such idiosyncratic statements in 2012. We had mapped the universe with tetrahedrons and octahedrons; it was a base-2 exponential expansion of those Planck base units which resulted in just 202 notations to the current expansion today.
