The Infinitesimal Sphere
Basic Building Block of the Universe

Abstract
In 1986 John Wheeler (1911-2008) envisaged a simple-beautiful concept that answered foundational questions in physics, especially quantum theory. He wrote, “Behind it all is surely an idea so simple, so beautiful, that when we grasp it — in a decade, a century, or a millennium — we will all say to each other, how could it have been otherwise?”[*] This website unwittingly became a search for that concept. In the prior post, we concluded that the sphere embodied that beautiful, simple complexity. Deep within the sphere exists all numbers, all forms, and all dynamics. Our work here is to continue to explore every facet of this emergent model, to try to explain what we are finding, and in the spirit of John Wheeler, to invite you to explore it with us. So far, in our quest for truth, the results to date seem to be a better description of our real realities than the big bang theory.[†]

The sphere, the first thing to manifest in space-time

manifests with multiple numbering systems.
Pi (π), 3.14159265+, is the first number as such and it results in the first sphere. Spheres are scale invariant. We know the simple formula that generates this enigmatic number; we do not grasp the systemic logic for the results. The radius, the rollings, and the remainder are all readily observed. The unfolding of those numbers, somewhere between 30 and 40 digits, has served its physical purpose for calculations on scales from photons to the size of the universe. The digits that follow, by default, must have something to do with (1) the finite-infinite relation, and then at some point, (2) only the infinite qua infinity. All those numbers of pi (π), over 200 trillion as of 2024, are defined by systems that are necessarily and profoundly manifest as continuity-symmetry-harmony. That’s a key. Yet, we also need to understand how pi (π) is generating no less than three other unique numbering systems that also define the first moments of time right out to today, this moment.
The Planck base units manifest within a base-2 expansion (Stoney units or ISOBIPM units may be used for comparative studies). It is a system of numbers of natural units where fundamental constants like the speed of light and the gravitational constant are set to dimensionless values of 1 effectively removing them from equations and making all derived Planck units dimensionless in relation to each other. These are eidetic numbering systems (See Simon Plouffe for more). Taken by itself, each number is defined by equations, ratios of foundational tensions and qualities foremost among them being space-time, mass-energy, and electromagnetism-gravity.
Numerals. Each sphere is a whole unit, and the second sphere is the beginning of whole numbers and numeracy as our students understand it. One sphere per unit of Planck Time is studied as a cosmological constant.
Prime numbers. Among numerals, the primes are a first-order dynamic numbering system that begins as the second infinitesimal sphere manifests.

Hypothesis #2: Spheres manifest as symmetries which are forms which manifest as space-time/mass-energy/electromagnetism-gravity creating real relations.
Infinity is continuity-symmetry-harmony. It is an eidetic form of a sphere.
The finite is also a form of a sphere which has actual numbers.
These infinitesimal spheres network everything, everywhere throughout all time.
Pi (π) is quantitative and qualitative, bridging the finite and infinite.
The bridge between the finite and infinite
… we might say, “Where things are both finite and infinite and there is an active, perspectival transmorgrification between the two.” This bridge has been very little studied. The literature is limited. Given the sphere, by definition, manifests as a three-to-four dimensional thing, this bridge by default is where two-dimensional space can be created. Perhaps one dimensionality is accessed from here. The finite — given the sphere, pi (π), and continuity-symmetry-harmony — defines three-and-four dimensionality. The work has been richly studied among those disciplines currently not on the grid. In 2019 the first article about this bridge was posted. Now in December 2024, we are announcing that a more intentional study of this bridge will be one of the major thrusts of this website and these perfection studies.
Our open question: Do things manifest within the infinite as ideation, a test of the continuity-symmetry-harmony, much like an AI test, prior to manifesting within the finite? It would have the same structure, the same mathematics and geometries, but not be 3-to-4 dimensional.


Hypothesis #3 Spheres beget perfections and its derivatives beget imperfections.
Spheres shape the dynamics of every moment as either harmonic or discordant.
In so doing, there is a value structure and an ethical structure within the universe

This is the bridge between the perfect and the imperfect. It is an open question if this bridge would accommodate imperfection. Earlier logic held that the speed of transactions and the densities within which relations manifest could not allow for imperfection. Yet, as ideation, it seems possible. That first study began in February 2020; it has been a thrust of this website and will be opened further.
The imperfect. Here to date, it has been a study of perfectly fitting geometries as opposed to those geometries that open gaps, fluctuations, indeterminacy and creativity. Afterthoughts
Personal reflections.

Size/notation: Solar system in kilometers. 287.46 billion km.
Light year: About 9.5 x 1012km
Milky Way galaxy: About 9.5 x 1017 km in diameter

In 1957 Kees Boeke gave us a base-10 map of the universe. It caught the imagination of people and by 1999 it had become a movie at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum in Washington, D.C.. Just 40 jumps or steps. You can replicate it today. Start wherever you are and go inside 20 jumps, dividing by ten for each jump. Then go out 20 jumps, multiplying by 10 each step. You will be surprised at how small and large your scale has become. You just started to create a mathematically-integrated view of the universe.

We find no evidence that those jumps occur in reality. Multiplying or dividing by 10 demonstrates base-10 and it gives flight to the imagination. We see our expansive universe uniquely.

But, a base-2 map tells a different story. First, base-2 is 3.333+ times more granular than base-10. We multiply or divide by 2. We start with Planck’s base units and assume scale invariant spheres. We followed the natural doubling and halving of perfectly enclosed platonic geometries as the first manifestation of a space-time moment defined by pi (π) and the three functions that are pi (π) which manifest in everything everywhere.
