Eidos and eidetic numbers

by Bruce E. Camber, 12 December 2024

Introduction. Within a base-2 system that starts with Planck Time and comes up to the current time, the Now, there are 202 base-2 notations that segment the universe. Within this scaling of the universe, that first year has 169 doublings of Planck Time. It provides 169 opportunities to look at the universe and postulate about what has happened in that first year. We look at the first second within Notation-143. And, we look at eidetic structures within the first yoctosecond (9.945×10-25 sec).

Initial postulations. Postulated are the first 169 notations. Eidetic structure, within the earliest notations, is a term that Plato used (eidos). Other words may well capture Plato’s intent. Fast forward into the 20th century, words like “archetypal” by Karl Jung have further defined eidos. In our time our mathematics and physics open a range of notations for functional analysis and comparisons. Langlands programs and operadic algebras in homotopy theory are examples. I would include string theoryLQGSUSYCST, and SSM  for comparative studies.

Every prime notation opens possibilities for new applications and configurations, yet when considering eidetic structures whereby these impart qualities to the many, I would propose to look at the hypostatic numbers, forms and functions which remain below the scale of measurability. Too fast, too small, and too dense for physical devises, one might say that they are pre-quantum and manifest certain perfections of space-time, matter-energy, and electromagnetism-gravitation. These are notations 0-to-64.

Key questions about order, relations and dynamics: Only the Human-scale version of the Universe Table or Universe Chart has been started. The small scale and large scale are summarized in blocks of about ten notations. Echoing Plato, we have guessed that the first ten are Forms or the Eidos. The next ten are Structure or Ousia, echoing Aristotle. Synthesizing the two, the next ten notations might be labelled Substances knowing full well that it would be another 40 to 50 notations before anything that could be defined as entitive or physical would emerge (Notations 65-69).. So mathematically there are at least 60 notations to begin to define with pure math, geometry, logic, and patience. To date, there is one posting that touches on it: On Constructing the Universe From Scratch. It is from here that we will pick up again to postulate in what ways each notation is also an archetype, clusters, containers, domains, groups, layers, and sets. We will be more closely examining the ratios at each step and doubling.

Notations 1-10 Forms  Historically we turned to Plato’s Eidos and more recently we’ve turned to the Langlands programs, automorphic forms, bifurcation theory, sphere-stacking, Fourier transforms, Poincaré’s spheres, Lorentz transformations, binary opsscalar fields, point-free geometries, and even more…
