Why Geometry Prevents a Static Universe

In 2012, mathematicians Lagarias and Zong confirmed a 2,300-year-old suspicion: you cannot tile 3D space perfectly with regular tetrahedra. When you attempt to wrap five tetrahedra around a common edge, they do not meet perfectly. They leave a 7.356° gap.

The 81018 Project identifies this “Geometric Frustration” as the physical source of Entropy, Temperature, and the Initial Thrust of the universe.
