AI’s feedback is immediate.
by Bruce E. Camber (First draft-January 2025)
1. Big Bang cosmology (bbc) has been sucking the air out of the room and limiting discussion since the 1990’s.[1] Some scholars are intransigent. That old guard will slowly fade away. Now that Grok (xAI) and the other AI’s are involved, there is finally a little competition to discern other possibilities and probabilities. Observations from the space telescopes like the James Webb Space Telescope do not support it. See Grok9 and the other Grok pages.*
2. The bbc advocates have stifled the creativity of our young-and-budding scholars.[2a] The older scholars are often guessing and going in circles.[2b] There needs to be a new vision that has clarity and consistency.[2c]
3. Plus, the bbc theory is inherently narcissistic.[3a] It encourages nihilism,[3b] and leads to a dystopia,[3c] primarily because the Big Bang has no working concept of infinity.[3d]
4. Many alternatives to the Big Bang have been suggested since the 1990s[4a]. Yet, there had been so much confidence that the Big Bang was right, there wasn’t much openness to discuss alternatives.[4b] Big Bang scholars had not seen a base-2 notation from the Planck scale to this day.[4c] Big Bang scholars were unaware of the 64 notations below the possibilities of measurement.[4d] Big Bang scholars have been unaware of Aristotle’s Gap.[4e]
5. As a theory, the Big Bang lacks structure.[5a] It can not account for its first minute, Notation-150[5b] (out of 202 notations for the entire universe since the beginning). Its mathematics are not extensible. It has no number theory.[5c] There is no geometry of the small scale.[5d] Its reliance on impenetrable magic of inflation, the inflaton and singularity is just not enough.[5e] Those seemingly magical ideas are no longer magical. It is one of five, all interrelated, really big mistakes that mislead us.[5f]
* Our recent homepages best summarize the situation as do the many new Grok pages: Grok6, Grok7, Grok8, Grok10, Grok11, Grok12, Grok13, Grok14, Grok15… Grok18.

We ask scholars all over the world for advice. Today we also turn to the postdocs and graduate students. To encourage collaborations, this homepage — https://81018.com/sound/ — and new pages from Grok, all need careful editing and critical review. Want to help? Afterthoughts
Personal reflections.
- ChatGPT to the rescue? Whenever you do not understand a piece of writing, put it into ChatGPT and ask them to clarify it. A friend did this to one of my recent articles, and the results were excellent. See for yourself! Using two browsers side by side, open the original — https://81018.com/correct/ — and in the other open — https://81018.com/ChatGPT/ — to judge for yourself.
- Frank Wilczek: The first scholar to comment outside of our initial acquaintances was John Baez of UC Riverside. He was first to say that our nascent model was idiosyncratic. It was a good warning. Our second encounter was with Frank Wilczek in January of 2013. He recognized that we were high school people struggling with new ideas, strangers in a strange land. He was gentle and gracious yet I am sure he wondered who this person was in front of him who knew so many MIT professors starting with Viki Weisskopf (who championed his visits to CERN).
- Try as he does, Roger Penrose did not answer the question, Why Did Our Universe Begin? This video is hard to watch. It is awkward and obtuse. As part of the video series, Closer To Truth, 2020, the production values are high, but I quietly asked myself, “Is this the best of our best?” -BEC
- I was surprised to discover Peter Trueb and his excellent little article in Nature, π ≈ 3.141, not only now, but forever. Nat. Phys. 15, 302 (2019). https://doi.org/10.1038/s41567-019-0444-5

8:58 AM · Jan 15, 2025 @elonmusk @grok @xai I have (used Grok) and it is instructive, encouraging and mind bending when asking questions about first principles. There are no less than 18 Grok pages: https://81018.com/sound/ Thank you. It has given me a green light with our “Quiet Expansion versus Big Bang” (campaign). https://x.com/BruceCamber/status/1879528585867980982
3:10 PM · Jan 11, 2025 @michaelshermer We are all such navel-gazers, even worldviews are ignored. Yet, I would argue that we aren’t going to make the swing toward sanity until there is a full-blown universe view. We got started on one quite by accident in December 2011 in a high school geometry class by going inside the tetrahedron and the octahedron within it, dividing the edges by 2 each time and going down to the Planck Length and Planck Time. That’s 101 steps. Going out (multiplying by 2) took us to the current time and size of the universe in just 101 steps. The magic of numbers (base-2) and geometry is just a start. We’re still at it: https://81018.com/
. To leading researchers in the physics community: We talk about worldviews because they predetermine how we engage the particular. Most people can not articulate a worldview. What’s the starting point? What is the assumed concept of time? …space? Yet, what if we had a mathematically and systemically integrated view of the universe? Yes, there is a start to such a thing: https://81018.com and it even drives an ethical judgment: https://81018.com/ethics/
2:02 PM · Jan 10, 2025 @WFPChief, @AAzoulay, @LauraClarkeCE, @DrTedros, @zlj517, @Fawziakoofi77 Nobody knows what will trigger a tipping point of “No Return” when dystopia is everywhere. We can’t know so we should behave as if it will happen tomorrow. https://81018.com/tipping-point/ It is a call to action. Thanks. -Bruce
. @neiltyson Neil deGrasse Tyson Happy New Year, Neil. My last one of the season! I would love to hear your comments on a thought experiment of taking the Planck base units and applying base-2 notation. The numbers are fascinating: https://81018.com Thought provoking. https://81018.com/chart/ Perhaps none of the old soldiers and our intellectual leaders and scholars have ever chased a true exponential expansion of what we today consider to be fundamental units. What could possible manifest at that scale? …might a sphere? https://81018.com/structures/ The world’s people need a new paradigm. Why not? -Bruce
