On learning from MIT scholars (in order of influence)

Scholars: Professors, Postdocs, research staff, emeritus, and historical footnotes:

Other professors with whom I have worked from long-long ago: Phil Morrison, Noam Chomsky, Marvin Minsky, Gian-Carlo Rota, and Jay Forrester (with Dennis Meadows and Club of Rome). Jerome Wiesner had confronted me regarding the “What is life?” display project in the summer of 1979 under the dome just off Massachusetts Avenue. He thought it was a right to life presentation. He was pleased to learn that it was named after Schrödinger’s book of that title. If this list of scholars included those who were undergraduates at MIT, it would be very long. For example, Yair Shenfeld received his BS from  MIT in 2022 and now he is on the faculty of Brown.

Perhaps there will be more to come about Jerome Friedman, Leonid Levitov, Seth Lloyd, Joe Pickett (MIT OCW), and Isadore Singer.
