Constraint Overview Links

What are the basics?

Background:

We were developing a second paper in the 81018 research program during June-July 2026. We were investigating the mathematical classification of constrained discrete growth processes, but statements between our AI partners differed and synthesizing a resolution seemed unlikely, so we challenge each of our eight AI partners to write their own paper constraint classes. With this document there are links to: 1) the last attempted revision (6 August 2026) of the synthetic document, 2) Bruce Camber’s continued attempts to clarify issues, and 3) the results of our requests to our AI partners for their own version.

By and large we were able to negotiate our first paper, a discrete geometric toy model with constrained growth. Nevertheless, there were several versions of it. This paper was to shift attention from a single model to a systematic classification of constraint functions and the dynamical regimes they generate. It provides a working outline and links to AI papers about constraint classes.
