This project, Our Universe In 202 Doublings, informally began in December 2011 within a New Orleans high school geometry class. We were learning about basic geometric structures called Plato’s Solids when were challenged by the question, “How deeply within can we go inside?” Our primary focus was the simple tetrahedron and octahedron. Our very first name for this project was The Big Board-little universe, then we thought, “It’s a  Quiet Expansion (as opposed to a Big Bang).” It seems we are settling on the Highly-Integrated, Mathematical View of the Universe or UniverseView. It has always been our home-grown STEM project.
