202 Doublings of the Planck Base Units
BY BRUCE CAMBER, October 2017 USA
Is this an unexplored domain for research? There are 67 base-2 notations (doublings) from the Planck Scale to up the CERN Scale. There are a total of 202 doublings from the Planck Scale to the current age and size of the universe. Those first 67 notations just might become the grounds for another major intellectual revolution. Once acknowledged, and real research by scholars commences, it could open the way to reinterpret both spacetime and the finite-infinite relation. More.. Chart…
Does this progression describe a natural inflation? Most of those 67 notations of this domain are too small to be measured by our instrumentation. Could such a domain be a place for pure mathematics? If those 67 doublings are in fact defined by the four Planck base units, could our most current research within conformal field theory, loop quantum gravity, and spin networks be set free from the Hawking-styled concept of the infinitely hot that come with his big bang theory? It appears that within this simple outline of a model, natural inflation defined by base-2 notation, acts like a scripting program to define the big bang epochs, all without a bang. More…
How can we understand the old finite-infinite relation in a new way? Is there a most-basic finite-infinite transformation within the incommensurables, and the irrational and transcendental numbers? Even before base-2 notation commences, there appears to be a natural thrust within numbers. Does this thrust originate within infinity that could be understood to be the continuity, symmetry and harmony that we experience within the universe? More…
Is this a proper definition of light? An engagement with Max Planck’s simple formula for Planck Time may be helpful. Within his formulae, light can be understood to define both space and time as a ratio, a Janus-face, an experience of a duality that is the singularity of light. More…
Do these 202 notations give us insight into number theory and basic geometries? It appears that number theory has yet to incorporate (1) these first 67 notations, (2) their pointfree-scaling vertices, and (3) the simple transitions from circles to lines given in cubic-close packing of equal spheres. Within basic geometry there is not widespread acknowledgement that perfectly enclosed within the tetrahedron are half-sized tetrahedra in each of the four corners and an octahedron in the middle. And even less understood is the most-simple construction of an octahedron from parts. It has six half-sized octahedra in each corner and the eight tetrahedra in each face, all sharing a common center point. Also, observe within that structure four bonding hexagonal plates. And there is so much more…
What are quantum fluctuations? We have yet to fully explore the foundations for quantum fluctuations. Here the fabric of space-time is opened up so there is room to build and breathe and actually mathematically experiment with imperfect geometries (pentastar) that should become the foundations of quantum fluctuations. More…
What does intellectual arrogance have to do with it all? The answer is, “Too much. It stifles progress.” Yes, progress in our understanding of the way things work in this world is held back by those who defend positions that once appeared to be the most robust, but have become detriments to deeper insights. The big bang theory is a good example.
De facto pecking orders within families, communities, institutions and governments hold us arbitrarily in check.
