Dear Prof. Chris,

Could there ever be a chance that an alternative to the big bang, a relatively simple, mathematical foundation for the start of the universe could be possible?

Since 2011, as a result of work within high school geometry classes, I have been actively studying the simplest possible mathematics that might meaningfully encapsulate the initial conditions of the universe. There are so still many many hurdles and so much scholarship to absorb; however, this work is set within 202 base-2 exponential notations from the Planck scale to the Age of the Universe.

I did an initial comparison of the natural inflation defined by such a simple progression with the currently-accepted epochs of the Big Bang: https://81018.com/2016/06/01/quiet/ The results of that simple numerical simulation is consistent with those definitions of the epochs. https://81018.com/planck_universe

I’ll continue dabbling with the model. As idiosyncratic as it is, do you think that we may have stumbled on to something? That little model works wonders for space and time!
