Dear Prof. Dr. Marjorie Senechal:

I was looking for you among the images at the Hahn reception on September 5 late afternoon. I hope you were there and all due respect was given.

I have taken up the issue of Aristotle’s Gap one more time — https://81018.com/too-simple/ — and there is a reference to your translation of Struik’s very special writing.

My style is to inform everyone to whom I make a reference. This time I was learning so much from you, I had to start a reference page. https://81018.com/senechal/  I was embarrassed to have not done this page much earlier. You are a formidable scholar.

Is it all just too idiosyncratic for you?

Best wishes,

Bruce

Please note: There were earlier emails in order to discuss, receive, and then suggest that her translation of Dirk Struik’s “De Impletione Loci” Problem be posted on the web. We are hoping to make time to digitize the article’s translation as alpha-numeric characters so various sections can be linked and further explored and discussed. It would also be a nicer presentation! Every line would by level to the horizontal plane! -bec
