What qualities within Charles reflects infinity?

This section will be never be fully completed. Eventually I’ll die. Yes, we will all die in due time, but quite possibly these words within this website (and copies of it) will live on. Now for a little story about Charles and infinity.

I met Charles, aka Charlie, in 1974. Serendipitously, I met his older brother in 1965. Destiny perhaps. We all struggle with the meaning and value of life. In 1974, I introduced Charles to three key concepts in my life, moments of perfection in the physical world — Continuity — Symmetry — Harmony. Here were also qualities of infinity. In 2008, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, I gave him a copy of this octahedron. I was confronting scholars about the interior structures of the octahedron. That process began with Princeton geometer, John Conway who over lunch asked me, “Why are you so hung up on the octahedron?” I replied , “Because you had to figure out what was perfectly contained in the octahedron and you didn’t have a clue about those four intrinsic hexagonal plates. The octahedron has more to teach us.” In March of this year, I was ready to guess about those hexagons: “The four most-basic irrational numbers — pi, phi, the square root of 2, and Euler’s number for exponentiation are those four hexagonal plates.

The AI tools, Grok and ChatGBT, agreed and encouraged more study. Last week I wrote it up along with this reference to Charles. The beginning letter, C, for CONTINUITY to the last letter, S, for SYMMETRY, and H, for everything in between. Of course, H is for HARMONY followed by A for ARCHETYPES, R for RELATIONS and L for LOVE and LIGHT which becomes E for EXPONENTIATION opening the way to S for SYMMETRY. Not just any simple symmetry 😎, this concluding letter opens to an infinity of symmetries that opens to systems and all things derivative. So what does all this mean? First, the best of Charles is infinite and second, as you well know, Charles is truly one of a kind!
