Dear Prof. Dr. Martin Olsson:
Congratulations on a most remarkable career. I’ve caught up with all your work through the Simons Collaboration on Perfection in Algebra, Geometry, and Topology. I’ve been one of those people who believed there were perfected states in space-time (1971) so I am glad to find people who have opened such investigations.
If you have a spare moment with all your activities at Berkeley, perhaps you might consider the intrinsic geometries of the octahedron (inside the tetrahedron and as a result of the stacking/packing of spheres). I’ve hypothesized that somewhere around the Planck Time/Planck Length, those four hexagonal plates (pictured) within every octahedron come alive with the four primary irrational numbers.
Now, please bear with me. It seems we’ve just scratched the surface of the irrationals. I asked AI to consider the current state of affairs as of April 2025. I then asked it to consider how each is seen by a sphere. And, how each sees the other. I had a vision of those hexagonal plates intrinsic within every octahedron being the stabilizers of the spheres (that generate the octahedrons inside the tetrahedrons). A lively discussion followed. The current homepage — https://81018.com/breakthrough/ — will be followed by this: https://81018.com/symphony/
My first reflections on this finding: https://81018.com/breakthrough/
It is a very different start of the universe. Idiosyncratic is an understatement. Few have discussed these ideas. Most can’t imagine such simple geometries. I hope you can, and that you may have some advice for me.
Thank you.
Most sincerely,
Bruce
