by Bruce E. Camber
Background: Michael Spannowsky, the Director of Institute for Particle Physics Phenomenology (IPPP) at Durham University wrote his doctoral dissertation about going Beyond the Standard Model (BSM): LHC Higgs Physics beyond the Standard Model (dissertation). Now he leads a most unique group whose mission is to explore it. In November 2021 a one-page overview of the IPPP became a homepage — 81018.com/smallest-largest/ — and sequel — 81018.com/questions-questions/ — to explore the issues coming out of the work of the IPPP.
First Visit: From 21-26 July 2025 the most-prestigious 30th PASCOS (1995-2025) conference was hosted by IPPP (“eye-triple-P”. Championed by Spannowsky and lead by their physics professor, Steven Abel, PASCOS has been hosted by leading centers of research around the world.
The founder of this International Symposium on Particles, Strings and Cosmology, Prath Nath, presented two papers. Known by his initials, PN, he is a physics professor at Northeastern University in Boston. Well-over 100 scholars presented papers with new insights regarding the leading-bleeding issues of where we are today with some of the unanswered, most-basic questions with intellectual discourse.
Bruce Camber attended PASCOS-30.
To the best of our knowledge, no particle phenomenologist has done anything with pi as it might relate to the gap between the Planck scale and the electroweak. Also, there has not been an aggregation of outside energies to push forward the 202 base-2 notations from the Planck scale to today’s scale.
The work within these pages will be focused on pushing forward those discussions and others related to that mission and purpose.
In the spirit of this website, we will explore those questions and that discourse.
