Dear Dr. Richard J. Fitzpatrick:
My first attempt to create a page to document your work was fraught with problems even though for the longest time I have had links to your work within /farside/, particularly to an article on bifurcation theory. Our work originates from a high school geometry class, Max Planck’s base units, and some speculations about a natural inflation following base-2 doublings of Planck’s units. We were searching for any articles about bifurcation.
Remember the excitement back in 2013-2014 with the first articles about the amplitudhedron? For some it was hinting at an underlying, coherent mathematical structure behind quantum field theory. For me it was screaming. We applied base-2 to the Planck units (or Stoney units). Particles-waves-oscillations-fluctuations don’t show up for 64 notations. The numbers are fascinating: https://81018.com/chart/ My juvenile explanation: https://81018.com/stem/ You’re the expert. Might the expansion of our universe be approximating base-2 exponential notation?
I know you don’t have any time and I have already used up my lot; I’ll beg for more. How can this be so wrong? Might it be closer to the truth and the inflation held by Alan Guth? Thank you.
Most sincerely,
Bruce
P.S. That page about your work is here: https://81018.com/fitzpatrick/ The more I learn, the more amazing you become. We all have to be careful: https://81018.com/arrogance/ –BEC
