Dear Prof. Dr. Catherine Bréchignac:

By searching using just “Catherine Bréchignac” + “publications” the first reference was to your Nanomaterials and Nanochemistry, Springer, 2007. When we were kids, the nanoscale was a dream and going smaller a fantasy. Yet, today one billionth of a trillionth of a second and one billionth of a meter are common measurements; we are now a zeptosecond and attometres people (quarks and 10-to-the-negative-18 m).  I predict, eventually we will include the full measure to the Planck base units or equivalent natural units.

I write to you about a petition to get creative about alternatives to big bang cosmology. It is a simple message that also requests looking more carefully at our oldest formulation-equation-tool, pi(π).

There are 202 base-2 notations from the Planck scale to the current time and size of the universe, There is still a lot of room at the bottom (assuming Planck base units are Notation#0). We have yet to define the first 64 notations. I believe several groups have done so unwittingly. If so, it appears that infinitesimal composites could be the next big thing. There you can find postdocs who are eager to tell us all about algebraic operads.

We all need to be re-oriented to the universe. That chart of Planck’s base units exponentially extended and the concepts around pi (π) is a fascinating start.

I would love to get your advice as I begin to navigate around France’s leading scholarly groups.  There is surely no better person.

Might you be available to help with this page and actions?  https://81018.com/petition/

Thank you.

Most sincerely,

Bruce

PS. Earlier in the week I sent these notes through Twitter:

12:01 PM · Jun 16, 2023 @CathBrechignac Happy belated birthday (June 12)! The email addresses I have for you all bounced back so it is now online here: https://81018.com/brechignac/ Proposed message: https://81018.com/message/ Edits? To whom in the leading learned societies of France?

11:51 AM · Jun 14, 2023 @CathBrechignac  There are now enough questions about the efficacy of the big bang theory that the scholarly scientific community needs to challenge its brightest and most imaginative to advance new ideas and concepts: http://81018.com/petition/#France Do you agree? Thank you. -Bruce
