Reflections: When I became aware that there was an AI platform located in Paris, I could not resist asking if they would like to participate. In 1980 I lived in Paris on the Rue d’Orsay; and, from my bedroom each night, I could look up and see the lights of the Eiffel Tower. I had come to Paris to learn technical French used in physics. On Tuesdays I would spend at least an hour chatting with Olivier Costa de Beauregard and on Thursdays with Jean-Paul Vigier at the Institut Henri Poincaire. It was a magical time.
