Location: The International Day of Mathematics was the initiative of The International Congress of Mathematicians IDM Governing Board (IDMGB). The chair from 2019 through 2024 is Christiane Rousseau of Canada. Others on the board include Rachid Bebbouchi (Algeria), and Laura Gomez Bermeo (Colombia). On the board from 2021 to 2024 are Oh Nam Kwon (Korea) and Carlota Simões (Portugal). On the board for the 2023-2026 term are Hong-Bin Chen (Taiwan), Marcos Cherinda (Mozambique), and Katie Chicot (UK). Andreas Matt from IMAGINARY attends and Günter Ziegler is the EC liaison person on the IDMGB. Its office are located in Berlin on Hausvogteiplatz 11A.
