Dear Prof. Dr. Zainal Abidin Bagir:
Congratulations on being on the editorial board of Zygon.
Today there are many avenues that focus on the science-religion dialogue (and lack of it). In the 1970s, Zygon was one of the few. The Templeton Foundation was just getting started. Today, with all the attention, there is still so little progress on all fronts.
I believe the primary reason for it is the fear of scholars that they do not grasp the essence of the Hilbert/Gödel logic, yet both of these scholars are limited in their knowledge of infinitesimals. Without the infinitesimal, Hilbert-and-Gödel are incomplete. We can increasingly know about the infinite and infinity.
Within the infinitesimal, the finite is defined by the infinite as given within dimensionless constants starting with pi. It gives us the footings for logic, for scientific methods, and for ethics.
I thought you would appreciate learning about these pages and these efforts. Also, there is a page overview of your work here: https://81018.com/bagir/
Thank you.
Warm regards,
Bruce
PS. Congratulations on all that you are doing! Wonderful. -BEC

Dear Prof. Dr. Zainal Abidin Bagir:
I came upon your most impressive web overview again and began thinking about my earlier note to you (below). I know from your vitae that you are very, very busy and inundated by email, yet I wonder given your work within global ethics and science-religion if you think there is merit to this model of the universe encapsulated by base-2 notation? Two pages, 81018.com and 81018.com/chart, are an introduction.
There are many pages to suggest the infinite can be known through the simple facets of pi (π) — continuity-symmetry-harmony — and these become the grounds for ethics and values.
Again, do you think there is merit to this model? Thank you.
Warmly,
Bruce

Subject: Reflections about time with Ralph Burhoe
Dear Prof. Dr. Z.A. Bagir,
Given your Zygon involvements, I thought you might enjoy a quick read about Ralph Burhoe: https://81018.com/burhoe/ Tensions are everywhere, between religions, between religions and the secularists, and between the solipsists and narcissists and the world.
The time is now to breakthrough the limitations of scientific thinking, particularly that adopted from Aristotle’s misunderstanding of tetrahedrons, Newton’s absolutes, and Hawking’s lack of grace when alternatives to infinitely hot have been proposed over the years: https://81018.com/duped/
I wish you well with all your work,
Bruce
